To Everything There is a season

grace love and truth logo

Ecclesiastes 3:1-8Amplified Bible (AMP) A Time for Everything

1 There is a season (a time appointed) for everything and a time for every delight and event or purpose under heaven—
2 A time to be born and a time to die;
A time to plant and a time to uproot what is planted.
3 A time to kill and a time to heal;
A time to tear down and a time to build up.
4 A time to weep and a time to laugh;
A time to mourn and a time to dance.
5 A time to throw away stones and a time to gather stones;
A time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing.
6 A time to search and a time to give up as lost;
A time to keep and a time to throw away.
7 A time to [a]tear apart and a time to sew together;
A time to keep silent and a time to speak.
8 A time to love and a time to hate;
A time for war and a time for peace.

NOTICE it does not say a time to be negative, or a time to blame everyone else, or a time to worry,or a time to fear, or a time to be un-thankful…..

It a great day to be alive and in love there are so many things to be thankful for, it so easy to look at the negatives in life, and what we don’t have, But rather look at the things you do have and be you thankful God bless your day abundantly with His love Joy and Peace

The Righteous “Shall Flourish” – By Laurence Torr

The righteous shall flourish – By Laurence Torr

laur tour

Psalms 92:12 The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree: he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.

Anyone who is born again of the spirit of God is righteous, that means in right standing with God, not based on there own goodness but based upon what Jesus Christ accomplished for them through His death burial and resurrection. When we confess Jesus as our Lord and believe God raised Him from the dead we are saved born again made righteous.

Here in Psalms God shows that the righteous shall flourish to flourish means to break forth and bud and bloom, to grow and to generally spread out. when we walk with God in our relationship with Him being led by the spirit of God we will break forth and bloom and spread out, sharing the good news with other and leading them to Christ. but another thing I notice here is that Palm tree when under great pressure from winds, they will not break, they may bend right over but they do not break, and after the storm has passed they come right back up again. Hurricanes can snap oak trees in half but it will not do that to Palm tree.

When we think about what God is saying here we can see that a believer in Christ was designed to with stand the storms of life, no matter what gets thrown at you remember you will bounce right back up. you we design to with stand the storms and to flourish and grow and spread out.

The Scriptures are very clear  that we are strong, and we are overcomer’s and we are fruitful.

have a great day Laur xxx
