Thoughts for Today – Why Worry?
God is not a man that He should lie, all the promises of God are yes in Christ and Amen in Christ. What God has promised, He is not only able to bring it to pass, He is also willing to bring it to pass. Let us take God at His Word, God says He will never leave nor forsake you, He will make you the head and not the tail, He will provide for you, He will deliver You, He will Heal you, He will make you abound to every good work, the only thing you have to do on your part is, know His promises to you believe them, and act upon His direction as He leads you by His spirit. God needs our believing our confidence and trust in Him and expectation. God knows your need He knows you heart to live for Him, Be Still and know He is God, and Remember He never stops working in Your life. You are complete in Christ there is nothing lacking, God is faithful and those that know their God will be strong and do exploits. So decide today is your day turn your heart to God for the battle is not your but the battle is God. Remember Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, they faced certain death for not bowing down and worshiping the image that King Nebuchadnezzar had made for everyone to bow down and worship. so because they did not bow to the pressure of the King to worship this image they were thrown into the fiery furnace. But guess what they did not burn and why because they trusted their God and God would deliver them they went from the sentence of death to promotion in the province of Babylon. They did not bow and they did not burn. If you bow you burn, if you do not bow you will not burn. Do not bow to your situations or circumstance or problem, But trust God for your answer and release and deliverance. Go to God with a confident expectation that He will deliver and provide, have a beautiful day.
Scriptures
Daniel 3:14 Nebuchadnezzar spake and said unto them, Is it true, O Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, do not ye serve my gods, nor worship the golden image which I have set up?
15 Now if ye be ready that at what time ye hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, ye fall down and worship the image which I have made; well: but if ye worship not, ye shall be cast the same hour into the midst of a burning fiery furnace; and who is that God that shall deliver you out of my hands?
16 Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, answered and said to the king, O Nebuchadnezzar, we are not careful to answer thee in this matter.
17 If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king.
18 But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.
19 Then was Nebuchadnezzar full of fury, and the form of his visage was changed against Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego: therefore he spake, and commanded that they should heat the furnace one seven times more than it was wont to be heated.
20 And he commanded the most mighty men that were in his army to bind Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, and to cast them into the burning fiery furnace.
21 Then these men were bound in their coats, their hosen, and their hats, and their other garments, and were cast into the midst of the burning fiery furnace.
22 Therefore because the king’s commandment was urgent, and the furnace exceeding hot, the flame of the fire slew those men that took up Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego.
23 And these three men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, fell down bound into the midst of the burning fiery furnace.
24 Then Nebuchadnezzar the king was astonied, and rose up in haste, and spake, and said unto his counsellors, Did not we cast three men bound into the midst of the fire? They answered and said unto the king, True, O king.
25 He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.
26 Then Nebuchadnezzar came near to the mouth of the burning fiery furnace, and spake, and said, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, ye servants of the most high God, come forth, and come hither. Then Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, came forth of the midst of the fire.
27 And the princes, governors, and captains, and the king’s counsellors, being gathered together, saw these men, upon whose bodies the fire had no power, nor was an hair of their head singed, neither were their coats changed, nor the smell of fire had passed on them.
28 Then Nebuchadnezzar spake, and said, Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, who hath sent his angel, and delivered his servants that trusted in him, and have changed the king’s word, and yielded their bodies, that they might not serve nor worship any god, except their own God.
29 Therefore I make a decree, That every people, nation, and language, which speak any thing amiss against the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, shall be cut in pieces, and their houses shall be made a dunghill: because there is no other God that can deliver after this sort.
30 Then the king promoted Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, in the province of Babylon.
Hebrews 13:5 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.
Romans 4:16 Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all,
17 (As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.
18 Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be.
19 And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sara’s womb:
20 He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;
21 And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.
Psalms 46:10 Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.
Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

Dear Laurence,
A few days ago, you wrote a message called “My thoughts for today – why worry ?” A believer from Congo saw it on facebook and translated it into French and sent it to me. I published it on my website, at the following link :
Pourquoi s’inquiéter ?
Love in Christ,
Marie

This is great and timely, much needed for God’s People whoever they are and wherever they are to realize that we don’t bow to the worlds idols, pleasures, ways of thinking or nspeaking, neither do we bow to any circumstances – however much we go through. We don’t bow to the kings of the earth nor their princes, nor to the money-makers whose God is their money or their belly. But to The Lord Jesus Christ we bow completely every part of our lives and beings as well as to God our Father.
Thanks Laurence
