God has not given us the spirit of fear. The spirit God has given us is of power and of love and of a sound mind.  A sound mind is where we can think with clarity and with certainty. We make the decision, if we are going to be moved by faith or caged in by fear. God wants us to be moved by His inspiration and not from a place of desperation, when problems or negative situations arise in our lives God does not want us anxious, or churned up  about anything.
