Thoughts for Today – The Grace of God – By Laurence Torr

I have been thinking about God’s wonderful grace, there is nothing we can do in or of ourselves that makes us right before God.

God has done everything through the accomplished and finished works of Jesus Christ. we are righteous, and justified, and sanctified and redeemed, and we also have the word and ministry of reconciliation because of what Jesus Christ accomplished.

Knowing also we are Heir of God and Joint Heir with Christ; we have boldness to go to God throne of grace to find mercy and help in the times of need, we have that direct access to God, because Jesus Christ was faithful, all we had to do was believe on Jesus Christ and confess Him as Lord and believe in our hearts that God raised him from the dead, that was all we had to do. what wonderful grace from God to us through Jesus Christ.

We absolutely lack nothing, being made complete in Him, there is therefore now no more condemnation to us because we are in Christ Jesus and the law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made us from the law of sin and death, this is so big

That condemnation that came into this world through the fall of Adam and Eve when they sinned, what entered into this world was death, sickness, fear, lack, poverty, and separation from God.

but Jesus Christ put things back into order spiritually for all mankind, and when we receive the spirit of God, we are no longer under this world kingdom rule or satan who is the god of this world.

We can take the authority that God has given to us as sons of God and rule and reign in this life by one Jesus Christ, and when we realise our redemption what was accomplished through Christ, we will no longer allow doubts worries or fear to dominate us.

satan has no authority over the believer only what the believer allows through lack of understanding and knowing who God is and who they as believers. and what they have right now as sons and daughters of the highest God the creators of the heavens and earth and His son Jesus Christ our wonderful Lord and Saviour.

Grace is that we rest in Him and that God does the works, He leads us and guides us by His holy spirit, He shows us what to do in live time situations

when we go to Him, He brings His word to our mind, and reminds us of His great and precious promises.  God is willing and able to do mighty things for us and by us when we believe Him,

When we see God’s grace, then God see’s our faith, because Our God is a faith God, our Faith in Him and His willingness and ability to perform what is needed in our life pleases God, He is a re warder of those that diligently seek Him.

The only labour we are to do is to enter into His rest it reminds me of What Jesus said, come unto me all you that labour and are heavy laden take my yoke upon you and learn of me.

I was meditating on this verse and it came to me just like this, when Jesus said take my yoke, it was like he could have said take my grace upon you and learn of me, for my yoke (grace) is easy and my burdens are light.

Grace is that God does the work and we do what He shows us to do, this was how all God’s great men and women moved as we see in the Scriptures.

When we ask God to show us His grace and what is means for us and to others, God will open our understanding and in any area we ask Him.

As we know the Law refers to works, what the person was to do, to stay in right standing with God in the old Testament.

Grace is what Jesus Christ accomplished on our behalf; He paid the price for everything so we could receive this grace by faith and freely enjoy all things.

Here are wonderful Scripture and truth that  will bless you.

Grace and Truth Came By Jesus Christ

John 1:17 For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.

Righteousness which is by faith of Jesus Christ

Roman 3:20 Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.

Roman 3:21 But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets;

Roman 3:22 Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:

Roman 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

Roman 3:24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:

The Glory of His Grace

The Riches of His grace

Quickened together with Christ by Grace

Ephesians 2:5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)

By Grace we are Saved

Ephesians 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

Grace given to us

Ephesians 4:7 But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.

Be Strong in Grace and commit to faithful men

2 Timothy 2:1 Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.

2 Timothy 2:2 And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.

Good Stewards of the Manifold grace of God.

1 Peter 4:10 As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.

Grow in Grace

1 Peter 3:18 But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.

Let Us have grace whereby we may serve God Acceptably

Hebrews 12:28 Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:

Hearts Established with grace

Hebrews 13:9  Be not carried about with divers and strange doctrines. For it is a good thing that the heart be established with grace; not with meats, which have not profited them that have been occupied therein.

We have been called into this Grace

Galatians 1:6 I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel

Do Not frustrate the Grace of God (we do when we do things the way we think it should be done or traditions o men

Galatians 2:21 I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.

If your justified by the law or your own efforts Christ is not effective in You

Galatians 5:4 Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.

Grace is given unto us

1 Corinthians 1:4 I thank my God always on your behalf, for the grace of God which is given you by Jesus Christ;

We are workers together with God so let’s not receive the grace in Vain

2 Corinthians 6:1 We then, as workers together with him, beseech you also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain.

God’s grace is sufficient for us God strength is made perfect in weakness

2 Corinthians 12:9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

Our Gospel is the Gospel of  the Grace of God

Acts 20:24 But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.

Give testimony unto the word of His Grace

Acts 14:3 Long time therefore abode they speaking boldly in the Lord, which gave testimony unto the word of his grace, and granted signs and wonders to be done by their hands.

We preach the word of His Grace which is able to build you up

Acts 20:32 And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.

We are to trust in the living God who gives us richly all things to enjoy

1Timothy 6:17 Command those who are rich in this present age not to be haughty, nor to trust in uncertain riches but in the living God, who gives us richly all things to enjoy.

Much Love
