Recognise the season your living in
My Thoughts for this Day.
Everyone of us goes through different seasons in life, just like winter spring, summer or fall, in each season we dress appropriately. We need to recognise the season we are living in our walk with God. There are times when we are thriving and growing, making great impact into other people’s lives and in our own walk, there are time when everything seems to fall our way, wonderful open doors, increase in every area, there are seasons of quite times, there are season, of hard times, where it seem we have to fight and struggle to get anywhere.
When you look through the lives of God’s people in the scripture you see in the lives of the believers different situation these people went through, they had times of blessing, times of facing challenges, times of seeking God direction they had wilderness times. When we recognise the season we are living in we can be more prepared and dress appropriately so to speak. We can keep a humble and meek heart, we can remember that God is for us and never leaves nor forsakes us, that we have His favour, we have His strength, we have the spirit of the living God dwelling in our hearts, we have the faith of Jesus Christ, that we are joint heirs with Christ and we have direct access to God through believing.
What season are you living, some may feel isolated, some may be looking for direction in their walk with God for their lives, some may be praying and waiting for answers, some may be facing hard times or challenging circumstances. Some may be in the wilderness experience, where you feel all alone.
King David face many different seasons, He had times of great victory, like His Victory over the giant Goliath, having great victory in battles, then there were seasons when He was on the run for his life, from King Saul, and Absalom his son, But David always turned His heart to God in every season God called David a man after his own heart.
What season are you in? know this that God is with you, in every season you go through, He wants you to continue to go to Him, seek Him in the good times, seek Him in the tough times, keep moving and keep believing. He will never let you down, as you stay faithful going to Him. you could be going through times of temptation, tempted to quit and give up. God has provide for us in every situation and as we stay the course and stay faithful God will give you the victory, just like He did for Joseph, for Moses for Joshua, for Abraham and Sarah, Just like He did for Jesus Christ.
If you are in a wilderness situation, where you feel on your own, it seems like your prayers are not being answers it seems nothing you do has an impact, just remember this is a time of strengthening your faith and trust in God, God says he will never leave nor forsake, when you come out of your season, you will be strengthened, mature established more in your faith towards God and in your action.
God wants your focus on Him, not anyone else in this world, through you God is going to do mighty things, those that know their God shall be strong and do exploits, as you stay believing you will have a mighty impact, in your family in your work place, in your outreach, learn to recognise the season your living in prepare your heart in every situation to look only to God the source of your supply, the fountain of living waters. Remember also that under great pressure the greatest acts for God was accomplished as that person stay focused of God.
Remember it not by your might nor by your power but by the spirit of the living God. God was the one that delivered the children of Israel, God parted the sea, God closed the door of the Ark, God cause Armies to flee, God delivered, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, Â we have an unlimited God, and we have also great authority in Christ Jesus, when we stay believing who we are, we will have great victory, direction, deliverance, and great heart towards God. The seasons we go through help shape and strengthen us, But in each season God is with you and for you.
Philippians 4:13 AMP
13 I can do all things [which He has called me to do] through Him who strengthens and empowers me [to fulfill His purpose—I am self-sufficient in Christ’s sufficiency; I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him who infuses me with inner strength and confident peace.]
so have a great day and God bless you

Thank you, Laurence! I sure appreciate your Thought for the Day – Recognize the Season you are living in. Wonderful encouragement! And reminder to go to God all the time — to keep God first all the time — to trust Him and know that He is always with us and for us and will bring us through. I am SO THANKFUL to have God in my life — I don’t know how people do it without Him. Thank you for sharing God’s Word! Love to you, Kim, your family, and the believers there. <3
