What is your desire? What is your vision? What is your main goal?
It is always good to ask yourself questions. When we use our wonderful ability to sit and think about what we want and where we want to be, and what we want to achieve and obtain in our lives, then ideas will start to come to us. We must be honest with ourselves on where we are now, where we want to be, and what we want to achieve and accomplish in our lives.
As I have shared many times before, first, you have to know what you really want in life. If you don’t know what you want, you will never have the energy and conviction to move in the direction which will bring good and successful results for you.
Many people are wandering aimlessly through their lives. They have no real goals or direction, and they settle for what the world around them offers them. Whatever you desire to become and achieve, you truly can have, but you have to know what it is.
God has a plan and purpose for your life. God is the dream giver and has great things for you. God will meet you at the level of your faith, and God is the one that gives you true faith with vision and direction and purpose.
Jeremiah 29 verses 11 through 14 amplified Bible: “For I know the plans and thoughts that I have for you, says the Lord, plans for peace and well-being and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call on me, and you will come and pray to me, and I will hear your voice, and I will listen to you. Then with a deep longing desire you will seek me and require me as a vital necessity, and you will find me when you search for me with all your heart. I will be found by you, says the Lord, and I will restore your fortunes, and I will free you and gather you from all the nations and from all the places where I have driven you says the Lord, and I will bring you back to the place from where I sent you into exile.”
God has the perfect plan for you. He has before-ordained works for you to do. God’s plan and purpose for you is of the highest order and quality, giving you the very best in this life and the one to come. God’s desire for you is peace, that peace to YOU, that passes understanding. He wants you to be healthy and prosperous; He has a bright future for you with great expectations and hope.
The first thing we need to do is go to God. Seek Him with all our hearts. Sit down with God and ask God what would you have me to do. “What is your plan for my life? I want what you have for me God.” As you pray, God will begin to put His desires into your heart because you’re going to him with a great desire for His plan for your life.
God says he will hear you, and you will find Him because you have sought Him with all your heart. You have to lay all that is in your heart before God and give him everything: Your worries, doubts, and fears, the things that trouble you. Place it in God’s hands, exchange it, and be ready to receive and to do what he puts in your heart for you to do.
As you keep God first daily, going to him, he guides and leads you. He restores your peace, health, and wealth, and relationships. He will make you the head and not the tail. He will restore the wasted years, he will give to you beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness.
God makes the weak person strong, those that seek him with a humble and meek heart, a willing heart to do what God leads them to do, laying aside their own things to take up the things that God has before ordained for them to do, and with a heart and mind to do what God is showing them and to speak forth his words boldly. As you do this, God melts and eradicates any fears you may be experiencing.
God is working in you, and you will not be doing his work from your own ability or strength. He makes your feet like hind’s feet and sets you up on upon his high places, so you can shine and be the light that you really are for him. God infuses you with inner strength as you set your heart and mind on him, ready and willing to do and be led by him.
God will put his desires in your heart. He will give you the true vision and goals and desire through the heavenly word spoken and what God places in your heart to do. When you make up your mind to follow God’s way and his plan for you, then you have the heavenly direction, and God will lead you step by step, opening doors for you, making a way through every situation, while building his desire and vision in your heart and giving you perfect direction.
Once I knew what God wanted me to do, I made a committed decision to do it and not looked back at my past life. There is no future in the past. The future is here with purpose, direction, and great desire to see it come to pass. When we focus on our past, it brings up the negative thoughts and feelings of what we may have gone through. Forget your past by focusing on today and the vision and desire you now have from God.
God’s word to me is, you are going to move my word all over the UK, Europe, and USA, and wherever God opens the doors for me to move. I cannot do this in my own ability and understanding and strength. There is no way I could do this. But with God, all things are possible and achievable. God provides all that we need and more to accomplish the before-ordained works he has given us to do. It is not by might, nor by power, but it is by the spirit of God.
Zechariah 4 verses 6 and seven amplified Bible: “Then he said to me, this [continuous supply of oil] is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel [Prince of Judah] saying, ‘Not by might nor by power, but by my spirit, [of whom the oil is a symbol], says the Lord of hosts. What are you, O great mountain [of obstacles]? Before Zerubbabel [who will rebuild the temple] you will become a plain (insignificant), and he will bring out the capstone [of the new temple] with loud shouts of ‘Grace, grace to it!’”
God is very big, and he can cause you to understand clearly what he wants you to do for him. God gave me a dream and said, “Lawrence anoint my fields with oil, feed my people.” I didn’t understand that saying until four years later, when I needed to understand it, and God showed me what it meant. God showed me that the fields are the fellowships and gathering of people, that to anoint it and feed his people was to speak by the spirit of God.
We may not understand everything at once, but it is as we walk, trusting and relying on God, that God opens the picture of our future bit by bit, so we are ready at each stage to move.
Look at how God worked with Moses faith showing what he was going to do, and God took Moses step by step, providing every word and thought, and the means to get the job in hand accomplished. To Moses, or for any of us, it was a massive task and feat to do and accomplish by the five senses, but with God leading and guiding, Moses proceeded forward, bringing and leading the children of Israel out of bondage. Moses began, and God worked with him each step of the way.
God also has done the same with Abraham and Sarah, with Joshua, with King David, and Jesus our Lord and savior, and with all his people. And God is not changed but has super-enhanced us with the power from on high, the perfect gift of Holy Spirit.
So, God gave to me my main direction. Now all I do each day is stay steadfast from the heart with God, with the same desire I started with, looking only to God, believing who I am and what God has given me personally to do, with no man able to stop what God has before ordained for me to do. It will be fully accomplished, with all glory to God, because what God begins, he finishes. He is faithful and true to me and you also, so our confidence is in God. God says, “Fear not. Be not confused or dismayed.” You may not know how the work is going to get accomplished or how God is going to provide, and you don’t need to know. You simply need to trust God, because God will cause us to accomplish what he has planned as we simply stay trusting him daily, and he will 1,000,000 per cent provide everything for us and in great abundance and joy with great growth and increase, because this is God’s desire. God wants you to have a high trust and expectation in him.
So, what do you want to do with God? What is your desire? What is your vision? If you don’t know, now is the time to humbly go to God, seek his heart and direction, and through his heavenly words, he will give you the vision, his revelation and direction for you. As we continue simply to practice what God has given us to practice, trusting that he is at work, we will begin to see great doors open to us. We also need to remember God’s perfect timing. It’s not in our timing. God’s timing is always perfect and never late. Stay with God and don’t be discouraged.
And God will open doors that no man can shut and shut other doors that no man can open. God is with us. You are already victorious, living the triumphant life from the right hand of God. This is how God sees you. Learn and practice to see yourself that way too. As Jesus is, so are you in this world right now. And as you think in your heart, so are you, and what you say from your mouth will manifest.
Watch your words. Don’t confess the five senses’ conditions or situations. Only consider that God is faithful, and we say what we want to see which is God’s vision. We don’t say what we see in the physical.
