Wisdom of Men or the Power of God

Some Leadership examples of Jesus Christ 10884

My Thoughts for today

Transformation begins on the inside and works its way to the outside, when we are in relationship with God, in His presence, the transformation begins on the inside of us and manifests its self on the outside. Then we  begin to prove to ourselves what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God and then we can prove that to others in our life styles in our witness to others.

Religious Christianity, dresses the flesh from the outside, with nice words and fair speeches deceiving the hearts of the unlearned because it showing a form of godliness, by plenty of activity  but denies its power .

God wants us to have knowledge of His word but not to the point that we are puffed up with information, quoting bible verses every word we speak , The word we learn is to be lived and applied, Believing is acting on the word being obedient to  the written instruction address to the church today and Gods  voice, then that word in us will be demonstrated with the power of God manifested in our lives. Then people will see that word living in us, we become living epistles in front of others, people read our lives, they will look at you and they know if there is something different what story is your life telling? Believing is obedient to do what God shows you to do, God leads us step by step,  That is how is Church His being built, just like a house brick by brick, we cannot do nothing without the direction of God, He leads we follow, Have a blessed day!!

Romans 12:1  I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your

bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

Romans 12:2  And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing

of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Romans 12:3  For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you,

not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as

God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.

2 Timothy 3:5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn

away.

2 Corinthians 3:2 Ye are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men:

1 Corinthians 2:4-5 And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man’s

wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power:

v5 That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.

Palms 127:1 Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the

LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.

  1. Laurence, this is a great sharing and an important truth for everyone in the Church. The challenge for us all, especially the leaders, is that if we profess Christ, then our words, expressions, thoughts and actions should look like Christ. We run the race to win the prize of becoming like him. Leaders are to lead the race in this way. Yet instead of being humble, there are many leaders in the church who are puffed up with their own ‘importance’ and ‘brilliance’, but what you have shared cuts through all that and says show me Christ, don’t just speak it. The Apostle James said a similar thing when he declared that he would show men his faith by his actions. That is, the Word is a living word from the living God, and when we truly believe it the power of our God comes through and changes the heart and mind of the person who is truly believing it. That change is into Christ. Great sharing brother. (You should post your thought on whatsapp too)

  2. It is all about Him and not about us :Php 2:13 For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.
    He made us!
Be stiil and know I’m the Lord!

  4. Just more edifying teaching, in the truth of the word, The power and the love of God. The supernatural power that raised Jesus and we have been given the authority to operate it in the precious Lord’s name.xxx
