God spoke to Joshua to arise and go the time of mourning the death of Moses was over and now it was time for Joshua and the people to Arise and Go if Joshua wanted to enter the promise land. If Joshua did not move, he would not have entered into the promise land nor the people with him that he was leading. Joshua had to decide to be strong and to be of a good courage which meant he had to be steadfastly minded on the promises God had just spoken to him. Joshua had to decide to be strong and of a good courage and he had to decide to the take action God was showing to him.

Joshua 1:1-9
God told Joshua in verse 2 – Arise and Go
God told Joshua Verse 3 – Every place that the sole of your foot shall tread upon, that have I given unto you
God told Joshua Verse 4 – From the wilderness and this Lebanon even unto the great river, the river Euphrates, all the land of the Hittites, and unto the great sea toward the going down of the sun, shall be your coast.
God told Joshua Verse 5 – not any man shall be able to stand before you all the days of your life, I will be with you I will not fail you nor forsake you.
God told Joshua Verse 6 – Be strong and of a good courage:
God told Joshua Verse 7 – Only be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law, which Moses my servant commanded thee: turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that thou mayest prosper whithersoever thou goest.
God told Joshua Verse 8 – This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.
God told Joshua – Verse 9 – Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.
We can see God repeatedly encouraged and gave instructions to Joshua what he was to do, God was with him and God is also with you, God provides for us the faith we need and instructions to do what he has called for us to do. Joshua had his part to play, if Joshua stayed where he was if Joshua continued to allow the emotion of the situation to overwhelm him, Joshua would not have moved. God knew how to work with Joshua and get him going, and God knows how to work with you too, God has been speaking but have you been listening and following what God is showing? Is non action or acting on your own advice hindering you?
God no longer wants you to mourn, your disappointments, your lack, or whatever negative circumstances or emotions you are facing or are going through. Or maybe your doing things in your ability and wisdom that is hindering you. Its time from today to cease from you own works and seek God for His direction.
Today and right now is a time to move and shake of the disappointments you may have encountered, it is time to decide to be strong in the Lord, to stop complaining, as you do you will find the strength to Arise and go, and conquer whatever is in front of you. Now go on, get moving with what God has spoken into your heart, because God has been speaking to your heart, go and get and claim the promises of God to you and enter into your promise land and claim your victory because it is rightfully yours, and waiting for you to have and hold and enjoy. No longer allow your situation to speak louder then what God is speaking to your heart.
Remember the complainers did not enter into the promise land those that saw the problem bigger than the promises and blessings of God and Gods ability to make good on His word these complainers lost out. We as believer must believe and see the promises of God as yes and amen and bigger than the giant in front of us. The just shall live by faith.
God will work with you to build your faith to take action, and God will also instruct you what moves to make, God will show you what to do, and then it is up to you to do it. When we do what God shows us to do, we will be victorious and receive the promises of God that are ours today and for our situations.
Psalms 31:23 O love the LORD, all ye his saints: for the LORD preserveth the faithful, and plentifully rewardeth the proud doer.
Psalms 31:24 Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the LORD.
When God has shown you to do something, then do it with all your might you may think you don’t have the strength but the strength and energy with be there when you take that first step. The only thing that will stop you from taking action is fear, fear will keep you behind closed doors, remember fear is False Evidence Appearing Real, fear is a smoke screen, fear makes your mind unsound. Its time to be strong and very courageous.
2 Timothy 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
Non action strengthen fear, and fear attracts the enemy. God wants you to go directly to Him with your problem and burdens God wants you to cast your burdens on Him
And He wants you to cast all your cares to Him, what does the scriptures say let us remind ourselves
Psalms 55:22 Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.
1 Peter 5:7 Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.
Psalms 34:15 The eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry.
Philippians 4:6 Be careful (anxious) for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
God cares for you; He is your Father and He does not want you weighted down with the cares and burdens and problems of this world. He has provided everything for you to be happy and healthy and prospering in all your ways, God has provided all this through the accomplished works of Jesus Christ, we receive everything from God, by faith which is the opposite to worries and doubts and fears. We are to rule and reign in this life by one Jesus Christ.
Romans 5:17 For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)
When we learn to release our burdens and problems by casting them and giving them to God then peace with come to your heart and mind, where you can then hear the voice of God in what ever way God chooses to speak to you. God hears your request, He hears your prayers and He is blessed when you give Him your problems and concerns, it is a great exchange you give God your problem and burdens and God gives you peace and answers and direction. And when we take action from the answers we receive and God shows to us, we will see the deliverance and answers to our prayers and victory.
So be encouraged today, be still and know that he is God and He has all the answers and all the solutions, the provision the direction the deliverance. Be Strong in Lord not your ability but His ability to do for you. Listen for that still small, follow what God is speaking to your heart as well as what you know to do. Put your expectation on God, say what you want not what you see. God needs your faith not your complaining.
Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
Faith will release you from where fear has held you. Where the spirit of the Lord is there is Liberty
2 Corinthians 3:17 Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty
