YES!!! One thing that I found is that when i try to fit what God has promised or anything from Him with what is swirling around me (the world and the thoughts and ideas of the world) it DON’T work! God and things of God CANNOT be mixed (or incorporated, or blended, or merged, or balance) together. I was thinking about this – meditating – and I realized that holding the thoughts and ideas that come from God is COMPLETELY without regard for the thoughts of this world, the schemes, methods, imaginations of the god of this world. So, meditating on the things of God, setting your affections on things above, having the mind of Christ, casting all my upon Him, having the peace that passes all understanding, can NOT be balanced, or brought into some kind of agreement with the schemes or thoughts from my former life. WOW!!! Let this sink in! I WAS crucified with Christ, nevertheless I live, yet not I but Christ lives in me. And the life that I now live in the flesh, I live by His FAITH, the faith of the Son of God, who loved ME and gave Himself for ME. Just think (HA! Meditate!) On that! He could not have even CONSIDERED any fact or idea, or natural thought else…… And I have the mind of Christ, so I can do as He did because He finished the work for me!! So, when I meditate on the things of God, on the thoughts and ideas and His Word and inspired visions, I don’t have to figure out how it’s going to happen, I just need to be present when it does! Holding on to His thoughts, being of good courage in the face of insurmountable odds, resting in Him, those are good things!! I SEE why He encourages us to be strong though. I really do! I love God and My Lord Jesus so much!!! Thank you for the encouragement! A word fitly spoken!!!
