Words have meaning and are powerful – By Laurence Torr
Words are very powerful and when we begin to understand their true meaning we can incorporate them in our everyday living and vocabulary with understanding. The Word of God is very powerful and as we begin to use God’s word in our speech, and incorporate them in our everyday living we will begin to see the power of God manifest in our lives.
The word of God is seed, and produces fruit like any other type of seed produces fruit, once it is planted and begins grow the type of fruit produce is dependant of the type of seed sown. Our own words also are seed and will also produce fruit weather they are positives words or negative words. life is conditioned by words. There is spiritual battle going on in this world for the hearts and mind of the people in this world.
2 Corinthians 4:4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
The God of this world has blinded the mind of people with his lies which are promoted through the systems of this world, he promotes his lies through media, through religion, through science, and through politics. The more we listen and educate ourselves with the worlds way of life and living the more we will speak in line with the world ways of saying and acting. this is how the god of this world satan, steals, kills. and destroys. we give satan power to operate against us when we agree with him. Just like Adam and Eve gave him power when they listen to him and took of the tree. but when we agree with God’s word to us and say what God says, God’s power goes to work on our behalf.
John 10.10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
On the other hand Jesus Christ came that we might have life, and have it more abundantly. but we have to appropriate this life through Christ which has been made available to us. Jesus Christ did not act or speak or come into agreement with the worlds ways when he walked the face of this earth, his focus and commitment was to do the will of God his Father which sent him, He spoke those things that God gave unto him to speak and He fulfilled the prophecies concerning himself written in the scriptures.
We appropriate the abundant life through Christ by coming into agreement with God’s word to us and we build our hearts with the truth of the word God and say what Gods says and apply these truth to our everyday living, when our minds are set on things above then God will lead us by His spirit because we are focused on doing the will of the Father in our own lives.
Romans 12:2 And be not conformed (having the same standard) to this world (present age): but be ye transformed (changed) by the renewing (renovation) of your mind, that ye may prove (to Yourself first) what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
See we are to prove to ourselves first what is good, acceptable and perfect will of God. once you begin to prove it to yourself then you will have the conviction and energy to prove it to others. that the word of God has power to change and produce. That this confession, saying what God word says, that God answers prayers because we have been praying, that the scriptures fit together and are true that we are wise unto salvation, That we truly indeed have power and authority like Jesus Christ, we can cast out devil, we can heal the sick we can cleanses the lepers we can rise the dead. God wants us to prove these things to ourselves first, so we can prove it to others that His word is true and His word works, that this saying what God says works, that we call those things which are not as though they were (Romans 4:17). That we can speak to our mountains, and they will be removed, that we can speak to the winds and waves and we can calm the storm, that we call the end results rather than saying what we see. That we truly are now ambassadors for God and Jesus Christ, that we have the word and ministry and reconciliation. If you are still getting the same old results in your life, maybe look at what you have be confessing, start the change today, and come into agreement with God and say what He would say, get the word of God in your heart, and declare Gods word from your lips of believing and see your life problems resolved, sickness healed and poverty and lack turned to all needs supplied with an abundance to give so you are blessed and can be blessing.
I was not going to write this much but the message is urgent to the body of Christ, God wants us to say what His word says, this is how faith is released not only by acting on the word of God but giving voice to the word of God. faith needs to be release and it is released by the word of God from your mouth, it is released by doing what God is leading you to do by His spirit, Gods word is a living word, and His word runs very swiftly it is living energy it is life. We can see in the scripture that God always says then it become and Jesus Christ spoke and it became and so we too must speak what we want, this is how we can release our faith and authority that has been given to us through Christ.
Like I started out, words and meaning of words are very powerful. I have been inspired with different words that came to my heart and I have listed them below. I have looked at my own life and walk and ministry and the words listed below which I believe God put in my heart for myself and family and ministry as this will help give me direction and to see where I am lacking and what I need to do about it. The word listed below are Desire, Vision, direction, consolidate, momentum, accomplishment and success. along with their meaning.
These words have helped me to see where is my desire, do I have a vision, I am I consolidating things and people in my life and ministry, Do I momentum, Am I Accomplishing. I am being successful. I pray this will help you too as an individual or if you’re a leader of Gods people these words will help highlight areas of your own life, or family or ministry.

Desire Means
(noun) a strong feeling of wanting to have something or wishing for something to happen.
(verb) strongly wish for or want (something).
Vision – What is your vision?
Vision Means
the ability to think about or plan the future with imagination or wisdom.
Direction – What is your Direction
Direction Means
a course along which someone or something moves.
the management or guidance of someone or something
Consolidate – Are you consolidating ?
Consolidate Means
make (something) physically stronger or more solid
combine (a number of things) into a single more effective or coherent whole
Momentum – Do you have Momentum?
Momentum Means
the quantity of motion of a moving body, measured as a product of its mass and velocity.
Accomplishment – Are you Accomplishing anything?
Accomplishment
something that has been achieved successfully.
Success – Are You Being Successful?
Success Means
the accomplishment of an aim or purpose
