God would have all men to be saved and come unto a knowledge of the truth.
God day to you, It is so amazing to think, that God really is for you, that He is not condemning the World He is not condemning you. God made a way for mankind to be saved through what Jesus Christ accomplished through his death, burial and resurrection.
God would have all men to be saved and come unto a knowledge of the truth.
I have spoken to many people about God and many think that God is against them, that they are not good enough to be saved. well the truth is. God is not against anyone, He loves everyone and has made away where they can have a relationship with Him and life eternal. God is not judging you, you will see this in the following verses of Scripture from God word.
The Scriptures reveal Gods heart for mankind and toward men kind. and God has made away for everyone to come into relationship with Him and out of condemnation. He has made away for us to come from darkness to his marvellous light.
Lets see what God has to say to the world through His Scriptures.
1 Timothy 2:4 Who (God) will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.
That is the heart of God a God of love and light.
I love what Paul says in Romans
Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, (missed the mark) and come short of the glory of God;
Romans 3:24 Being justified (regard as innocent) freely by his grace (unmerited divine favour to men kind) through the redemption (ransom) that is in Christ
Jesus:
Romans 3:25 Whom (Jesus Christ) God hath set forth to be a propitiation (the payment in full) through faith (believing) in his (Christ) blood, to declare his righteousness (the condition acceptable to God) for the remission (forgiveness) of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;
Everyone of us have sinned or missed the mark, we are not saved because of our righteousness or that we are such a good person or done good things to others or because we are kind. We are saved through what Jesus Christ accomplished on the Cross. when we believe on Jesus Christ and receive
Him as Lord and confess him as the Lord of our lives.
John 3:16-17 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life
17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him
might be saved.
God wants you, if you are not saved or born again to have everlasting life, and God is not condemning you, He is for you and loves you, and the way you receive His love and everlasting Life is by believing in the Lord Jesus Christ.
Jesus Christ is the mediator between God and Men, and Jesus gave His life as a ransom for your life.
1Timothy 2:5-6 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; 6 Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.
There is one way to God although religion and the world promotes there are many ways to God here is what Jesus Christ said about who is the way to God.
John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father (God), but by me.
John 3:18-19 He that believeth on him (Jesus) is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
So how do we receive this new life? how do we come out of condemnation to righteousness with God? we receive new life and righteousness by believing on the Lord Jesus Christ and confessing Him as Lord.
Romans 10:9-10 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
when you confess Jesus as your Lord and believe that raised Him for the Dead you are saved, God fills you with His holy spirit and you become born again, a Child of the living God, and joint heir with Jesus Christ. Lets read the next couple of verses in this chapter.
Romans 10:11-13 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
Let me tell you right now God says here in the scriptures you will not be ashamed by believing on His Jesus Christ.
12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.
And you do not have to come from a special background to received Jesus Christ as your Lord.
Romans 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
Whosoever means exactly that, whosoever God is not a respector of people, all God requires is that you believe on His one and only true Son Jesus Christ.
God wants you to enjoy this life that he has given you and he know how you can really truly enjoy.
If you a have not confessed Jesus Christ as your Lord, I encourage you to do so now, God is for you and not against you, He want you to have fullness of joy, peace and everlasting life.
