Psalms 46:10a  Be still, and know that I am God:

If you want to hear from God, get yourself into His presence into a secret place, where there is no distractions. God wants to give you wisdom, direction, protection, He wants to lead you beside the stills waters, as we give everything to God that is in our hearts, and silently wait on Him, he will speak to your heart, and inspire you with His thoughts and ideas and direction.

As you act on these inspired thoughts and ideas you receive, you will see your day blessed, you will see yourself strengthen and faith rising. Ask the Father to speak to your heart and inspire you with His thoughts, You can learn to hear from God, simply by being faithful going to Him daily in prayer then being still (quite). ask God to open your spiritual ears to His voice. the more you go to God in prayer and meditate upon the truths of the scriptures the sensitive your ears (heart) will be to recognised when God is impressing His thoughts and Idea in your heart, you will know because your faith rises up strong with in you. There is no mistaking it.

Psalms 85:8  I will hear what God the LORD will speak: for he will speak peace unto his

people, and to his saints: but let them not turn again to folly.

Make God your hiding place listen to what King David had to say

Psalms 32:8  I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will

guide thee with mine eye.

As you go to God He will instruct you and teach you the way you should go God is the one that is guiding you, as you go to him and ask for direction.

This is being led by the spirit of God. (Romans 8:14  For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.)

Isaiah 30:21 And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk

ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.

God will show you when you are going the wrong way, He is big enough to communicate to you so you do not miss it.

There are no big firework and hassle and bustle going on when God speaks to your heart, it when you are still waiting and trusting to hear from Him, have a read of this wonderful record, that show us how God communicated with His prophets of old.

1Kings 19:11  And he said, Go forth, and stand upon the mount before the LORD. And, behold, the

LORD passed by, and a great and strong wind rent the mountains, and brake in pieces the rocks

before the LORD; but the LORD was not in the wind: and after the wind an earthquake; but the

LORD was not in the earthquake:

1Kings19:12  And after the earthquake a fire; but the LORD was not in the fire: and after the fire a

still small voice.

1Kings 19:13  And it was so, when Elijah heard it, that he wrapped his face in his mantle, and went

out, and stood in the entering in of the cave. And, behold, there came a voice unto him, and said,

What doest thou here, Elijah?

1Kings 19:14  And he said, I have been very jealous for the LORD God of hosts: because the children

 of Israel have forsaken thy covenant, thrown down thine altars, and slain thy prophets with the sword;

and I, even I only, am left; and they seek my life, to take it away.

1Kings 19:15  And the LORD said unto him, Go, return on thy way to the wilderness of Damascus:

and when thou comest, anoint Hazael to be king over Syria:

Listen for that still small voice, God can speak by way of thoughts or audibly, or through the scriptures or by another believers, like I mentioned earlier on God is big enough to speak to you and get your attention.

God even used a donkey to get one of his prophets to listen Numbers 22:28

Sometime we feel on our own, but God is with us and will never leave nor forsake us, if we are trusting Him and going to Him and seeking Him you will hear from Him.

When we are in trouble with life circumstances you may think where is God, read this scripture it tell you where God is when you’re in trouble

Psalms 46:1 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

God is right there with you in your trouble, but you need to make him your refuge (shelter)

God is our shelter from the storm, when we make God our refuge He will protect us in that time of trouble and He will tell us when to make our move or stay still or what to do next.

Mat 6:6  But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast

shut thy  door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth

in secret shall reward  thee openly.

so take time to spend with God who is your Father daily, as you do this faithfully you will see great things happen in your relationship with God, not matter your circumstances you will have peace because you know God is for you and directing you steps. we need to dwell in the secret place with God as you do this you abide under the shadow of the Almighty  read this Psalms it is filled with great encouragement and shows us what God will do for us as will go to Him in that secret place

Psalms 91:1  He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow

 of the Almighty.

Psalms 91:2  I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I

trust.

Psalms 91:3  Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome

pestilence.

Psalms 91:4  He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his

truth shall be thy shield and buckler.

Psalms 91:5  Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by

day;

Psalms 91:6  Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth

at noonday.

Psalms 91:7  A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall

not come nigh thee.

Psalms 91:8  Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.

Psalms 91:9  Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy

habitation;

Psalms 91:10  There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.

Psalms 91:11  For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.

Psalms 91:12  They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.

Psalms 91:13  Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt

 thou trample under feet.

Psalms 91:14  Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him

on high, because he hath known my name.

Psalms 91:15  He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will

deliver him, and honour him.

Psalms 91:16  With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.

God is still speaking to His children today, are you listening?, are you seeking?, are you getting into that secret place with God?

Have a great day Laur x
